New Haven biofuel firm to open plant

(10/5/2011) New Haven alternative fuel provider Greenleaf Biofuels closed project funding on a 10-million-gallon per year biodiesel plant set to open in the second quarter of next year.

The facility will become the largest biofuel facility in New England and the first with deepwater and rail access, according to Greenleaf. It will be located at the Port of New Haven.
